Continuous professional development for sports science professionals

Exercise Sports Science Australia faced a membership decline, with active members frustrated by a cumbersome member hub, unclear course offerings, and difficulty finding relevant information. Additionally, the promised business visibility through website listings fell short of expectations.

SYDNEY AIRPORT

Evolution of airline travel in a post covid society

In the wake of a transformative global event, the landscape of

user experiences has undergone a profound shift, demanding

an insightful revaluation of our digital interfaces.

​

This case study delves into the realm of UX research and

strategy applied to Sydney Airport, dissecting the challenges

and opportunities presented by a post-COVID society.

​

Through the lens of user-centric design principles, this case

study unravels the intricacies of understanding Sydney

Airport's users in this altered context – their anxieties,

expectations, and evolving travel patterns.

AUSTRALIAN GAS NETWORK

Transforming the AGN Site into an Inspirational and Functional Hub

I relaunched the AGN site as a functional and inspirational information hub, turning it into a highly usable tool.

 

This redesign allows users to easily understand the benefits of natural gas and enables them to connect smoothly with suppliers, ensuring a seamless hand-off process.

AUSTRALIAN COMPUTER SOCIETY

Optimising Collaboration for ACS Professional Year Program

For the Australian Computer Society (ACS) Professional Year (PY) program, I aimed to better understand how Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) operate both functionally and holistically with their students.

 

My goal was to foster better collaboration between the ACS and RTO teams while optimising the program by clarifying the overarching process by creating a service blueprint informed by front and nack of house users.

LIVE IN MELBOURNE

Exploring immigration pathways into Australia to curate  search, discovery & information architecture

Live in Melbourne, an initiative by the Victorian Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry & Regions, aims to attract and retain skilled professionals, business people, and investors migrating to Victoria. The website, although rich in valuable content, had high drop-off and bounce rates due to a complex content discovery process.

​

To resolve this, I worked with primary audiences to understand their needs. I used these insights to create a validated hierarchy aligned with real user journeys. This led to a new information architecture and smarter search functionality, significantly improving content discoverability and user experience.
